Who is Therapist Tiff?
Thanks for stopping through. Below is a bit about me, check it out to see if you think we are a good fit!
I am Licensed Marriage and Family therapist , licensed in both Pennsylvania and Minnesota. I have worked in the field for 15 yrs providing individual, family and couples therapy in multiple settings including in home, outpatient, residential, as well as in schools. I am currently providing individual , family and couples therapy in a private practice setting. I also offer clinical supervision as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate. In my role as a supervisor, my focus is to assist therapist in their journey towards licensure, enhance clinical skills, explore ” Person of the Therapist” themes , and identify and nurture career goals and development.
I grew up in an urban environment or as I affectionately call it ” the hood”. I believe that those of us who grow up in ” the hood” walk through life with our own set of unique experiences. Through those experiences and systems embedded in our communities we learned to be resilient , celebrate the good, smile through the pain and justify the negative as just a part of life. My job as your therapist is to help you identify the patterns you have adopted as you have moved throughout life, understand how they have served you , highlight the positive and disrupt the negative in an effort to assist you in your goal in becoming the best version of you. Through a collaborative approach,we will work together to develop a plan to help you heal, grow and evolve so that you can get to living your best life and truly smile.
I am truly your around the way girl with the education and expertise you would expect from a skilled therapist. My approach to therapy as well as supervision is real and down to earth while also challenging and supportive in an effort to promote growth and success towards your goals. My hope is that my office will be a safe space for you to unpack and rebuild.
