Who is Therapist Tiff?

Thanks for stopping by!
Here’s a little about me—check it out and see if we might be a good fit.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, licensed in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Minnesota. I’ve been working in the field for nearly 20 years, providing individual, family, and couples therapy across a variety of settings. These days, I offer therapy in a private practice setting.

A lot of my work centers on working with Women of Color —especially those who grew up in environments that didn’t make space for softness, rest, or vulnerability. Women who learned early on how to hustle, how to hold it all together, and how to keep pushing—because falling apart wasn’t an option.

I grew up in an urban environment—or as I lovingly call it, “the hood.” And if you know, you know: growing up in the hood builds resilience, sharpens your instincts, and teaches you how to read a room fast. But it can also teach you to suppress emotions, avoid asking for help, and carry more than your share—because survival demanded it.

That upbringing, while powerful in many ways, can show up later in life as anxiety, depression, people-pleasing, burnout, or feeling disconnected—even while you’re excelling on paper. I work with women who are navigating life transitions, boundary-setting, relationship stress, and internal pressure to always “get it right.” Together, we unpack the old messages, process the pain, and build something new—grounded, whole, and aligned with who you really are (not just who you had to be).

In therapy, I take a collaborative, real-world approach. We’ll identify the strengths you’ve developed along the way, while also working to shift the patterns that no longer serve you. My goal is to help you build a path toward healing and growth, so you can live fully—not just function.

At the end of the day, I’m just your around-the-way girl—with the education, experience, and authenticity you want in a therapist. I bring a down-to-earth, supportive presence. My hope is that our work together offers a safe place to unpack, rebuild, and move forward with intention.
